CNYFA
The Central New York Football Academy was created in 2009 by Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame Member, Mike Hart. The former NFL running back who spent his college years at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, wanted to create something that would inspire and help the lives of the less fortunate kids in his hometown. After reaching out to long time friend and coach, Michael Poirier, the two set out to make the idea a reality. For the 7th annual camp in 2016, the academy expanded to add basketball and became the CNY Sports Academy.
